An original painting is an excellent way to commemorate a significant event, award a family member or friend, or just to compliment a person's home or office. Owning an original painting has a presence that you won't experience with a print.
Commissioning an original aviation painting is an easy process. With guidance from the client, a set of sketches will be produced to establish the look of the final piece. The sketches will incorporate available research and reference material, as well as personal notes from the client. Depending on the size, complexity, and treatment of the subject, the painting process will take approximately eight to ten weeks. Once an agreement is reached, a deposit of 25% (of the final purchase price) will be required to begin the painting process. The final payment will be due prior to delivery and is refundable if the artwork is returned undamaged within 30 days. Re-works and adjustments of the artwork will be done at no cost to ensure satisfaction. Copyrights to the final artwork are retained by the artist.
